The instructions that come with it says to stop using it when you reach the erosion stage? How do I identify the erosion stage or should I just follow my Doctors directions and apply it for the full 4 weeks?
My Doctor had me start using fluorouracil and said to apply it for 4 weeks?

From reading here and other resources online you will find that many have a different prescribed therapy; dosage, duration etc. Do precisely what your doctor prescribed and if unsure at any point, make an appointment for the doc to evaluate and possibly revise the original dosage. I questioned like you, checked in and she revised it. She said always check in before making a change on your own or if you are unsure of anything at all.
My Doctor told me three to four weeks and scheduled a check up at three weeks. At that time she stopped treatment as I was "pretty well cooked". I imagine everyone is different depending on the damage. I'd call for an appointment one week earlier.
