Actually for a Sunday starter-If the patient misses two (2) “active” tablets in the third week or misses three (3) or more “active” tablets in a row, the patient should continue taking one tablet every day until Sunday. On Sunday the patient should throw out the rest of the pack and start a new pack that same day. The patient should be instructed to use a back-up method of birth control if she has sex in the seven (7) days after missing pills. I actually think it is safer to use back up a whole pack in cases like these but you can do what you will.
Thank you so much for your help.
I hope you're using another method of birth control. Start the pills in the pack you were on, on the day you should be on. Its probably too late to take the ones you missed. Then put a big note on your frig to remind you to take it or set a reminder on your phone. I would use another birth control for the rest of the cycle.
Thank you for your help.
