I typically take my Lexapro pill around 11 or noon in the morning, eastern time but forgot this morning, if it’s 7 pm eastern time should I take it now or is it too close to my next dosage tomorrow morning? It’s 17 hours away
I’ve missed my Lexapro pill this morning, should I take it now?

Hello Zachty,
Your prescription should have come with information sheets which would directly answer your question . If you no longer have these sheets, call your pharmacy which should still be open at this time.
Another option is to go to Lexapro's website and look up "missed dose". It will either tell you to "take it as soon as you remember ", or "skip the missed dose and take your next dose at your regular time", and/or "do not take a double dose."
Personally, I have been on this medication for 8 years now, 20mg once per day, and If I had missed a dose within your timelines today, I would take the 11am or noon dose now.
Hello! I would take it now. Doses should be at least 8 hours apart so you will be fine.
Best regards, Wild Cat
