I have taken one dose of Miralax a month ago, and am in severe pain till now, my colon hurts, my bladder hurts, my pelvis hurts, very painful flatulence, very nauseous, kidneys and liver hurt. I can't go without water for more than 5 hours, I have swollen feet and hands, bruising till now, and have metallic taste in my mouth. It has been a month and I am in pain, when will the symptoms go away completely? Do you think I have a perforation in the colon or an ulcer because of Miralax, shouldn't it be out of the system by one month?
Miralax dosage taken one month ago?

Answers
Hi, Alaq!
Miralax has a very short half life and is out of your system quickly so it doesn't seem likely that one dose a month ago would cause such severe symptoms.
Whether it was the medication or not you need to see a doctor ASAP to rule out any other possible causes. If you can't reach your doctor you might need to go to an Emergency Department.
Best regards and good luck to you.
