I have been on methotrexate for 2 weeks and ever since I started taking it I immediately developed blister like sores around the anal area. Is this common or just a strange side effect.

I've been on methotrexate for 8 days - 2 doses and have experienced bloody stools, blisters and PAIN in the anal area during after bowel movements. I wish I'd figured this out before the 2nd dose! I will not be taking any more of this medication.
I have had a couple fissures but no blisters
That may be what I have going on as well. You know its kinda hard to look at that area careful to see exactly what’s going on. And I haven’t had diarrhea so I don’t think the stool is acidic.
