I have recently had colon hydrotherapy to help along with my detox program. The doctor who carried out the cleanse told me that i was severely blocked and after a traumatising hour where i released a lot of waste he told me to take magnesium citrate for a week and then to return for another cleanse. i had only been eating healthy vegetarian soups, juices, fruit and fiber for weeks before the cleanse and before that I'm a generally all round healthy girl. So i was pretty shocked. Feeling great now and don't want to return, i have baught some capsules for probiotics and I'm thinking to stop taking magnesium every night as he suggested. i don't feel blocked…….he had said the blockage was from a long time ago! a bit of a language barrier as I'm in spain. Any advice of suggestions would be amazing.
Does magnesium citrate strip you of good bacterias?

Ok, that answers my question what dr would do such a thing? You do not have to have a cleanse of your body, that's bunk. Your body does all the cleaning and filtering you need. Take your probiotics and eat right and forget about that dr.
Thank you for that reassurance, very much appreciated. No more magnesium or colonic irrigation for me.
