I had a bacterial infection. My doctor prescribed me to take metronidazole twice a day for seven days. During this he said that I could not have any alcohol whether it be in gum or mouth wash etc. Well my dentist prescribed me this special kind of toothpaste for brushing my teeth that has a low percentage of alcohol in it. So I haven't used my prescribed toothpaste while on this medication. I took my last one tonight, may 18th 2015. I also chew gum regularly that also had a low precentage of alcoho, that i havent chewed while on this. When can I get back to my regular routine?
How long after last dose of metronidazole?
