I started Loestrin Fe 8 days ago. On the 6th day I started feeling itchy & a little tender down there you know common beginning signs of a yeast. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this as well? A little nervous, thinking it may be the Loestrin, maybe my body is adjusting.

Yeast causes yeast infections. The pill can change the ph of your vagina which may support yeast overgrowth. Treat it now it will be eased to get rid of then if you let it get worse.
Yes, thanks went to buy monistat already. I'm aware of what causes yeast infections, was interested in finding out if any other women had similar experience with Loestrin. Thanks for the reply.
Good morning I was so happy to see your post because I just started this pill also on March 21, 2015 and I am experiencing the same thing plus a little spotting. Can you advise if your symptoms have stopped. I was confused if I should stop taking the pill or not. I look forward to your response.
I have been on this pill for 4 and a half years but have now been having recurring yeast infections for like the last year and a half. I feel like it's related to taking this pill but I'm hesitant to get off because I also enjoy not having had my period since I went on it.
Has anyone had an actual diagnosis to what this is? I was on this pill for just a few days shy of a month and this problem started. I had a feeling right away the pill caused some change in my body that caused this. I have a few more days until my doc appointment and I am weary of buying anything over the counter, but I am going nuts with the itching.
