... arthritis in my knee. Can I put a patch on my neck and on my knee at the same time?
Yes. You can use up to 3 patches a day. You can put them in various places or all in 1 place. You can also also cut them up into whatever shapes and sizes will stick to where your pain is. And remember the Lidocaine doesn't go through your whole bloodstream. It stays in the area the patches are in.
The only bad thing is you can't use them continuously. You are supposed to take them off after 12 hours, stay 12 hours without them, and then use them again for 12 hours. However, I have left them on longer. One time I had a 1/3 piece on my foot under my sock. I totally forgot about it. I had it on 1.5 days. I have also used 2 patches on my back for 12 hours. I took them off and I put 1 patch on y knee. Nothing bad happened. However, I never use them day after day after day. I alternate the patches with pills, usually Tylenol.
