Hello,
Common Lantus side effects may include:
"low blood sugar;"
swelling, weight gain;
allergic reaction, itching, rash; or
thickening or hollowing of the skin where you injected the medicine.
I don´t know how long you´ve been on this med, but in most people at the start of their treatment some tend to experience very common to common possible side effects, I say most because everyone reacts to everything differently in life. If experienced such potential side effects they do tend to subside within 7 to 10 days (give/take), if they don´t subside they must be reported to your Dr. for a dose adjustments or to try a different med.
