I am taking 800mg of lamictal and it really depends on you. I take 300mg in the morning 300mg and around 1pm and 200mg at around 6pm. I am hyper manic all day so I have to take it throughout the day. Since Lamotrigine usually has a calming effect. It really depends if you are using it for seizure maintenance or for bipolar disorder.

Most people take it in the morning but it always made me a little tired so I took it at night
