The medical name for ibuprofen/Percocet is combunox.
Yes you can take ibu every 8 hours with oxy as long as you don't have any problems with ibuprofen and some orthopedic conditions advise against it.
I took 2 avil and did roxicondon 15mg
Just now I going to see what happens
Hey Alan,
You can take oxycodone with the ibuprofen at the same time if you want. In fact, there is one formula of oxycodone that is mixed with ibuprofen rather than acetominophen which is what the APAP is.
Hope this helps,
Laurie
I didn't know there was an oxycodone/ibuprofen med. I did know of a hydrocodone/ ibuprofen med. And have chosen that over the codones /apap for inflamatory issues because tylenol has no antiinflamatory properties. And to take even1/2 the dose of the codone/ibuprofen med seems to be more logical for taking the edge off the intense pain while targeting the inflamatory cause of the pain. Honestly, I feel patients w/ inflamatory pain are being done a double injustice when perscribed a codone / apap. As far as not reducing cause and ill side effects of the apap. Would love to know the name of the oxycodone/ibuprofen med.
Sorry, only know it by its generic name which is ibuprofen/oxycodone. Oxycodone also comes in a formula with aspirin.
Apap is Tylenol
Hiya
Yes, that should be fine.

Now to narrow it down, how about 2 hours?
