I understand that you should not use Afrin for 3-5 days. Does this mean 3-5 days continuously?
Is it OK to to use Afrin every other day for a short period of time?

Answers
Afrin (oxymetazoline nasal spray) is a non-prescription medication used to temporarily relieve nasal congestion due to the common cold, allergies, or sinus infections or inflammation. It should not be used for more than three days in a row, due to the risk making the congestion worse.
For more details you could talk to a pharmacist/doc, hope the info helps?
