I shampooed my daughters hair with Rid Lice shampoo last night, she is still itching like before... is this normal? maybe we didn't get the right level of saturation on her hair? I'm wondering if it is dangerous (too toxic) to do twice in succession?
Is it dangerous to use Lice shampoo more often than the recommended 7 to 10 day interval?

Wait a few days and get the [-{{Nix}}-] brand treatment for her. Nix is much better than Rid. Nix kills the lice and the eggs and last to prevent for 2 weeks. Do shampoo her with the Rid first to kill any lice that may have hatched out. before you use the NIX. I also recomment that you get a product that helps dissolve the glue that the lice use to cement the eggs to the hair. I know this gets kinda expensive to get all 3 products but it is worth it to prevent it from coming right back. Use the rid, then the nit removal procduct, then the NIX 3 times in 6 weeks at 2 week intervals making sure you get all nits out and you should be rid of this plague. The eggs are what keeps reinfecting the poor children.
