Sulfa, (which is what bactrim is) is a pretty good soft tissue antibiotic. Many people are allergic to it, if this was not prescribed for you, be careful.Signs of allergic reaction to it are mouth, tongue or throat swelling and difficulty breathing. If it is your medicine, it should work well.
It was prescribed to me but was for a different infection, Thank you so much!
You're welcome. It works on lung, skin, urinary tract, tonsil, throat and sinus infections, You can use monistat or any other yeast infection medicine every 2 days while taking it if you are prone to yeast when you take antibiotics.
