I take Buspar 5mg but cut it and a half and Zofran 4mg. Before when I looked up the interactions it said minor, now it says major. What do I do? I need to take my Buspar. I called the pharmacy and the lady said there was no interactions. I'm confused.
Interactions between Buspar and Zofran?

Hi, Aly!
There is a possibility of a rare condition called serotonin syndrome and you should be aware of the symptoms. However, it's likely that the benefits outweigh this risk and it's readily treatable in the early stages.
"Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. Your doctor may already be aware of the risks, but has determined that this is the best course of treatment for you and has taken appropriate precautions and is monitoring you closely for any potential complications. "

That's what I read but my pharmacist said there is none and web md says no interaction. That's why I'm confused. Thanks for your comment.
You should probably err on the side of caution and take your concerns to the doctor(s) who prescribed the two medications for their professional advice.
There is a bit of confusion apparently because some Checkers say there is no interaction but others do.
Good luck and let us know what you find out.
