There is a minor interaction between lisinopril and medicines like Viagra and Cialis. You can take these together but just be aware that they may cause low blood pressure with symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting.
Please see link below for the interaction in detail.
You should check with your doctor.
What are the side effects Lisinopril and Viagra
I would ask your doctor about it. I have been taking 5mg lisinopril for over 5 years now along with 50 mg viagra tablet when I need it without any problems.
I wonder, though, if Aetna pays for Cialis. I believe that it should be covered. Being high blood pressure is a medical condition, Cialis is needed to help the "The problem". I have yet to contact Aetna, I trust they will cover Cialis.
ive been taking 20mg cialis and 20mg lisinopril for months and no ill effects at all to date/
My husband takes all three... no side effects. Cialis for emptying all of his urine. Had a spinal injury needed Viagra... got that. He's been taking them for several months.
Yes, Aetna does cover Cialis and Viagra - pre-approval from doctor required.
Based on their pharmacology ,phsphodisterase -5 inhibitors may conceivable potentiate the hypertensive effect of anti hypertensive medications.these agents inhibit PDE -5 mediated degradation of cGMP ,which in vascular smooth muscles can cause peripheral vasodilation .however ,clinical pharmacology studies of tadafil (administered as a10mg dose except in studies with angitensin11 [AR] blockers ,and which used a dose of 20mg) have demonstrated no clinically significant interaction with various anti hypertensive drugs from major classes including CCB blockers,ACEI,
beta blockers ,thiazide diuretics and AR blockers .tadafil 10mg and 20mg no clinically significant effect on blood pressure changes due to tamsulosin ,an-alpha blocker. In addition ,analysis data from phase3 clinical trials showed no difference in events in patients tadafil with or with out anti hypertensive medications.inpatients receiving concomitant anti hypertensive medications ,tadafil20mg may induce blood pressure that is ,in general ,minor and not likely to be clinically relevant. In clinical study of health male subject 45 to 78 years of age ,administration of silodosin with 20mg dose of tadafil ,resulted increased frequency of positive orthostatic tests during a12 hours period following concomitant dosing to administration with placepo. patient should be advised of potential for interaction and to contact their doctor if they experience symptoms of hypotention such as dizziness ,light headed ness,or fainting.
