i'm pretty sure i have a yeast infection and wanted to use monistat but i'm not sure if i should use it because i have mirena iud. will it effect my birth control if i use it?
I have mirena iud and was wondering if its ok to use monistat to cure my yeast infection?

creams do not affect the iud ... creams are safe ...

i know that moistat will reduce the effectiveness of condoms. idk about the mirena. you can call your dr and ask him to call you in a pill called diflucan. its only one pill. u take it once and the yeast infection is gone! its great!
