Oxycodone will show up on a regular test while methadone does not. Oxycodone im pretty sure shows up as an opioid/opiate. Methadone needs a specific test to show up because it is a synthetic opiate. That is why if you were to take the 2 at the same time chances are you wont feel the oxy because methadone cancels out other opiates.

Don't know about the methadone, but, oxycodone will show for 3 to 7 days depending on how heavy the usage. You need to drink alot of fluid, excercise to a light sweat and soak in a tub of hot epsom salt water to get it out. Don't dehydrate though and take a b complex vitamin so your urine will have color.

Hi - not to be too critical, bit I think what the asker meant was, 'how long will it take for the Oxy to show up' i.e. when will it be in my urine.
I am just commenting because I need to know the answer myself: if I take a pill, and I get a UA in the next two hours, will it show up or not.
At least that's what I assumed the original querier meant.

ONE methadone can last up to a week.Because it has such a Long break down process

i know all of that, but how long after you take it will it show up in a urine test? Thats the question. Not how long does it last.

It can show up in as little as an hour.So if u need it to show up Take at leas an hr before Dr apt But it would better to take at 2 hrs to be sure 1 pill can stay in your system at least 72 hrs

JKGlass, it will only let you have thqt option if you answer a question, as opposed to commenting on another comment. How many days ahead of time should a person take and keep taking their Oxicodons. So it will be in their system the way it needs to be for their UA when they see their Dr. A friend of mine said their Dr told them they were only taking 1 pill the morning of and that he could tell because of the way it act in the liver.
