I am in iran.
we have glibenklamide(5mg) and amaryl (2 and 4 mg). is there any differenves betwenn them?
can i take amaryl in 3 steps in a day?(before breakfast,launch and dinner, 2 mg ,totaly 6mg)?

They both belong to the same class of anti-diabetic drugs called sulfonylureas and work in the same way to lower blood-glucose.
Both are medium- to long-acting and so are usually given just once a day with or just before breakfast.
Take whatever your doctor recommends - everyone responds differently.
