Michellehelen 12 Sep 2016

According to Google in 1979 the fda stated:

" Due to concern for the safety of residues from food-producing animals, FDA concluded that use of this and other NAS/NRC reviewed nitrofurazone topical products must be limited to dogs, cats, and horses (not intended for food use)"

I can't find any evidence that it was. The stuff has been around since I was a student nurse. I haven't seen it used in at least 20 years.
