I am just starting 4 weeks of application of Efudex to both of my ears. I attend aquafit exercises daily. Will the chlorine in the pool affect the medication.
Fluorouracil - Will chlorine in swimming pool affect the performance of Efudex 5% GM?

Make sure you're applying the Efudex at least 2 hours (hopefully more) prior to getting in the water, and wash it off before getting in. If it's aquafit, and not actual swimming (as in - head stays mostly above water); you may be able to do it for longer; but once you start reacting and having open sores from the Efudex, you're going to want to hold off on the chlorine until through healing. If you're just starting, you probably have a good 7-10 days before you'll see anything start to manifest, and even then - if you are just starting to get sores, you can probably cover with aquaphor to protect from the water if you're not submerging like lap swimming. Your pain level will guide you after that. If you have open weeping sores from the Efudex - don't go swimming even if you could take it pain wise- no one wants someones body fluids and chemo cream in the water with them!
