I am a 20 year old female suffering from thinning hair. My dermatologist prescribed me fluocinonide topical solution 0.05% to calm my itchy dry scalp. This is my second day using fluocinonide and a lot of my hair sheds when I run my fingers through my hair.. Will castor oil help if I apply it after I apply fluocinonide on my scalp?
Can I use fluocinonide and castor oil for hair regrowth?

I been using fluocinonide for a rash for about a month then I started using it on the edges of my hair in two days I noticed after massaging it on my edges my hair started to grow so the following week I started using Castrol oil and the combination was perfect and now I have started mixing my oils together in a jar with vitamin E and peppermint oil my scalp looks amazing, also I have boiled some ginger and mixed it with homemade rice water take your rice and boil it use the original rice fill your pot once the rice start to boil and you see the water turn white take your strainer and separating the rice water from the rice now mix it with the ginger water add some virgin olive oil, coconut oil you can mix this in your conditioners or shampoo after you have completed the process of shampoo and conditioning your hair use the rice water as a rinse then leave in for 20 mins and rinse out then apply your oil mixture from scalp to ends.
I promise you will get the results you are looking for once you start this process don’t stop you will have a healthy hair of hair and the best shampoo and conditioner for this process is Pantene. One final thing you can add lemon extract along with your oil mixture to strengthen the hair follicles. I hope this helps you happy growing your hair.
I had very itchy scap and my doctor put me on the same medicine, and it stopped my scap from itching but my hair was still coming out by the hand fulls. Come to find out, my iron was much too low and had anemia. Even after taking iron for 20 years, i didn't get back my hair that I'd lost, and its still coming out. I was later diagnosed with alopecia, the male hair loss type.
I'm in the process of trying lavender oil mixed with olive oil and mineral oil. I may change out the mineral oil with castor oil since I just read that mineral oil absorbs vitimins My hair is about gone, not too much left. Hope this work I need a miracle Amen
Stacey95; It sounds like the doctor is tying to heal your scalp with the medication which does work well. I would not add Castor oil or anything to the scalp you well dilute the medication. If its lots of hair falling out give your doctor a call and let them know also on this medication a few drops goes a long way you don't have to soak your hair into it. try and part your hair and add a few drops and lightly rub it in the dry scalp and such could be the reason you are losing hair.Good luck if your still not sure call your doctor. But try and be gentle on your hair.
