I just want something that will soften my stool, that's all.
I've been in ur position and there is nothing worse so I'm gonna give ya the suggestions that worked for me and didn't give me cramps like a lot of stool softener a often do... 1st u need to drink so much more water then u even did before. Flavored waters are not the same thing. Just plain good ole water. 2nd u can take a live enzyme that won't interact with any other medication and will keep everything in balance " down there" if ur female that's important cause u don't wanna end up with a yeast infection on top of everything else :) ! A good one is Culturelle! And 3rd drink plenty of fruit juice such as 100% pure grape juice or apple juice but stay away from dairy and grain products cause it takes more acid to break down dairy so u could end up with a belly ache and bread and muffins and things like that when ur already on a fiber supplement is just adding fuel to the fire. And last but not least a good ole cup of coffee has caffeine in it and that will get the process moving. Don't load it up with tons of sugar and creamer but coffee is a stimulant and I'm sure u can see where I'm going with that lol ... I hope these help and I hope u feel better as soon as possible
