I would need more info on the situation but Vics Vaporub should not cause a false positive for meth. If it was a urine test, was a confirming test done using GC/MS? IF not you need to request it. Or ask for a complete re-test. If it was a hair drug test the lab would run the hair thru a chemical wash to was all external contaminants off. Depending on the screening of the hair the lab would run a GC/MS test if they thought it was going to be positive for meth. One of the main features of hair drug testing is that it has a very low false positive rate. Hope this helps.
