I've had scabies for over year and have suffered at trying to alleviate these things and rid them from my body and tried everything. Ivermectin 5X Permethrin 5x benzyl benzoate turpentine oil for my scalp pine tar Nustock stock and a host of stuff I bought online and essential oils. I read a thread on topix.com where a man took albendazole and eurax cream per his doctor's prescription in it cured him.
Hi everyone. Has anyone ever taken albenza or mebendazole for scabies?

Try ivermectin - it kills worms and scabies
My life has totally changes and I'm so depressed I feel hopeless!
I also do Clorox baths when it gets too itchy. Use moxidectin cattle pour or ivermectin blue from tractor supply on itchy places and bumps or alcohol, also use advantix big dog over the counter on spots as well. Use a enzyme from Amazon very important. To spray diluted on clothes and sheets, never use towels. Air dry from shower. Also very important to use roach pruff on floors, these bugs will climb all over your feet. Scatter everywhere. This is hard to get rid off. No, impossible!
I too am so depressed from dealing with scabies. It sounds like you have tried alot of medicines. I found a Dr who is helping me with a treatment plan I found on Center of Disease Control. You take Ivermectin day 1 and 2. Again on day 8 and 9 , 15, 22 and 29. While using permethrin every 2 - 3 days for 2 weeks. I am Praying this works. I hope the CDC knows what they are talking about. It's alot better then the Dermatologist I had who insisted that since I had used permethrin once I was cured. He never even looked at me body. I have only found this one Dr. Who has been willing to treat me past what their old timey books say. I have a 6 month old grandson and a six month great niece I haven't even met. My 2 1/2 year old grandson doesn't know why he can't see his Mimi. It is so hard. Waking up in the middle of the night itching so bad I can't get into the shower fast enough. I'm handicapped so I can't take baths. Hang in there. Let me know if you find a cure or if the CDC Treatment Plan works for you.
I bet you have hookworm or schitomrs instead of scabies. Norwegian scabies sound cliser to ur problem. I've had the same situation for 14 mo ths and it turned out to be helminths or hookworms. Got treated two days ago albemza. I know why people commit suicide now. 2017 was the worst year of my life
I went through this hell too and the third dermatologist put me on Eurax on the body and malathion on my head. It took about 8 months to eliminate them from my body. I took ivermectin, permethrin cream, etc. It came back because supposedly it took 3 months to diagnose me with scabies. I had a few marks on my skin... no rashes. I had the tunnels in the leg in the beginning, but I took a bath and scrubbed them out. After that it was hell. The only thing that helped was Eurax cream and also the dog mange medicine with benzyl benzoate. It was the first time I felt some relief. I continued to have itching in my head after treatments. What helped was the turpentine diluted with a base oil, jojoba, grape seed, apricot, or avocado will work. I am still having post scabies symptoms. Doctors are baffled with this. Every three to four weeks I get an itch all over my body, almost like the scabies, but not as unbearable. I spent months with no symptoms and then this monthly event.
I have no marks on my skin, no rash, sometimes a mild redness. It is post scabies, but nothing gets rid of it. I have eczema creams, antihistamine creams, etc. nothing works like turpentine medical grade oil with two thirds of a base oil. I don't know why. Good luck.
Did you get rid of it?!
I am trying it now. It is effective, it has reduced a lot of the activity. 35 days on the albenza. But still have it. Most sores are gone.
