CUREDEPIDIDIMITIS - for how long did you take the silver before it was cured?
Hi, I've been diagnosed with epididymitis for about 3 years. I took a herbal medicine called diuretic and anti-inflammatory pill, now all my symptoms disappeared after 3 months treatment. The key to cure epididymitis is to find a proper treatment for your condition. Hope you feel well soon.

How much could it cost privately. I have a one year US Visa so I can take a gamble.
Once again thanks a lot sir. If you come across anything else in that area, please let me know

David

Hey David, if you still are having issues look up the Wise-Anderson protocol. It shows that many times this pelvic floor pain is caused by chronic muscle tightness and nerve pinching due to anxiety and stress. Profound relaxation of anxiety and the nervous system are effective treatments for this. Hope you have a great day!
I have had Epididymitis since October 2013, so it's been 3 years now. At the time when it started I was 21 and had sex more than a year ago. In the first few days both my testes were burning with pain so I had to see a doctor who prescribed me antibiotics (don't know the name). I finished the medication but the pain didn't go away so I decided to go see a Urologist. The urologist took me an ultrasound and told me I am fine and that there was nothing there. He gave me anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen I think). The pain got less severe and I think it was after 3-4 weeks since it started I noticed I had a small hard pea-sized lump on my left testicle.
I didn't have enough money to go see a doctor since I was a student depending on scholarship allowances and nobody was supporting me at home financially. So I decide to bear the pain since it was less severe. In June 2016 I went again to see another doctor who took me an ultrasound and said they had to remove my epididymis. I made an appointment at the surgery, while I was thinking about it since it could lead to my infertility. I did some research on the internet and found out that removing the epididymis doesn't guarantee that the pain will go away, and if it doesn't you'll have to remove the whole testicle. I also discussed it with my girlfriend I've been dating since 2010 and planning on getting married. She was against the surgery and was worried we won't have children in the future so I decided not to do it.
I feel positive now seeing I'm not the only one going through this. I've been having problems in my love life as this makes me crave for lots of sex and ejaculating seems to ease the pain most of the time. What I want to know is can antibiotics still help me since I have had epididymitis this long and are there some people you know who had it and still got children?
Try seeing a pain specialist and having a nerve burn procedure. I can give you details. You should be able to have kids no problem. Mine started 10 years ago so I have a lot of knowledge on what to do and not to do. The antibiotics are hard on your body so I suggest not going that route. They tried a nine month regiment on me and it helped but messed my guts up for a long time.
Thanks Jason. Hearing I will be able to bear children is a huge stress reliever. I'm thinking of trying magnesium treatment first (google "calcium deposits epididymis"). I might be having some calcium deposits in my epididymis that's blocking the free movement of sperms when ejaculating, that need to be flushed out.
I have heard of that. No harm in trying. Just go easy at first or you can get bad diarrhea from too much magnesium.
My doctor is thinking epididymis and I have been on CIpro for 9 days now.
Once in a while, like in the morning, the pain in my right testicle seems to go away only to return with activity during the day.
He talked about doing a CT scan maybe if the antibiotic doesn't work.
What can ultrasound do for an infection? Or is epididymis not necessarily an infection?
I'm new to this, please help. This has caused me so much stress. I can't figure this out, but reading the posts here have been a big help.
Any meds work out for you to relieve the Epididymitis?
Did you get break through
Did you get break through
Same did you get break through
Well well, it's been almost two months after a hernia operation, on the left side. Since having the operation I have developed this nasty issue. Have had three courses of antibiotics to date and nothing changes.
What does help me is wearing boxers and laying down. I also think a hot shower helps ease it within minutes? ?
I can't play sport anymore, play with my daughter freely or anything, very upsetting and I want answers as I am not living my life like this with no explanation.
Dear Troy, did you finally get a break through. It's not easy on me it's been going for now six months. Any help is welcome

Hi what kind of surgery did you had?
Thank you for your help!!!
Try reducing anxiety and stress, this can be a huge source of any pelvic pain due to muscle tightening and pinching of nerves. Easily reversible with profound relaxation of the nervous system. Meditation can help, etc. if you want more info look up the Wise-Anderson protocol. Urologists have been studying chronic pelvic pain for years and many cases are this “charlie horse” in the pelvic floor muscles which gives me relief just knowing that. Wish you all a wonderful day!
Listen brother .. Just stop worrying yourself on those medications again. I would prescribed a very good option for you which I tried and really helped me ..The best answer is sovereign colloidal silver .. Please just try it once and see magic within four to five days ..I’m from Ghana but my friend from USA got it for me from Amazon ..
I'm 38... or 39, have to ask the wife... I've been dealing with epiditymitis for 12 years now, guys. It comes and goes, sometimes the pain lasts a few hours, sometimes it's a few months. I've tried antibiotics, they can help or hurt, depending on what med I am prescribed.
it's not fun, as all of you know, but keep your chin up and stay positive.
Hey, I know your suffering and it could be nothing but muscle constriction in the pelvic floor from stress or anxiety. You can use profound relaxation techniques to reverse this. If you want more info on this “charlie horse” in the pelvic floor muscles constricting nerves look up the Wise-Anderson protocol. They are urologists who have been studying this issue and its treatment for many years. Good luck!!
I suffered from it for 2 years... went to a pelvic floor specialists and after the first visit was 90 percent cured.
I have had epididymis on my right side and I have been on antibiotics for 7 days I have 3 more days to beI have 3 more days to be on antibiotics it don't hurt I just don't think is totally gone away yet does it take longer to heal sometimes I just want to know cuz I don't want to lose my testicles cuz I want to have kids someday if anybody could help me I would appreciate it

Hello all,
I am also facing the same problem from last few days.i was feeling a mild pain in my left testis and when I consulted the doctor , they diagnosed it as epididymitis. They have put me on 100mg Doxycycline and 500 mg ciprofloxacin. Now from yesterday I started feeling the pain in my right testicles. Pain in left testicles is almost reduced. I'm bit worried. Can anyone please suggest me some medicine and home remedies.
Same here 5th day of 500 mg
Levofloxacin... so far so good but I will keep the site updated.
Hey guys, I figured something out for epididymitis with no infection, the cause can be chronic muscle spasm due to stress and anxiety tightening around the nerves. Look up the Wise-Anderson protocol they have found profound results through study of this chronic pelvic pain. Simply reducing anxiety and calming the nervous system can be all you need to reduce or cure this problem! Let me know if this works for you.
I have had epididymitis over the years and it always takes me a full 2-3 month course to get rid of it.
The high end Ofloxacin never responds but doxycyclin for me usually nails it.I don't know why these websites say 10 days is enough lol.
I'm currently dealing it atm and have just finished a month of doxycyclin which seemed to get rid of it, but then it came back a few days later after the course had finished.
They put me on the Ofloxacin for two months and the pain is only getting worse so I have just had to phone back and get it changed.
I'm really worried being on antiniotics is going to cause health problems, but what else can you do?
Hello Simon2, did the doctors tell you if you had an bacteria infection or not? Or is yours caused by other symptoms? It seems like there are different causes for epididymitis. For some guys it's biological and for others it's an infection.
It was bacterial the first time from a non specific urinary tract infection. I think it was the same thing which triggered it again recently. Either way. I was given a 2 week course of Ofloxacin. It didnt work. Then I was given a month of Doxycyclin, which worked... but it came back the moment I finished the course. And now I am on the full two month course of Doxycyclin. Which I have just started. Wish me luck.
I am worried about the health problems this could cause me.
Hey Man, Hang in there. I had ureaplasma which apparently caused my epididymitis. My urologist told me last week that the infection is clear but I'm still experiencing pain and inflammation. Apparently even after an infection has cleared it can still caused inflammation for sometime. I've also been dealing with this off and on for two years, so that probably means I had the bacteria in me for two years, which could have thrown my immune system for a loop. I've just been checking on natural things I can take for pain. Keep me updated with your progress. Don't give up, just keep pushing through. I'll let you know about my progress as well when I finally can get the inflammation to go away. Stay positive!
Thanks. Your words mean a lot. It seems this is a very common issue for men yet this has had very little research done on it. It must cost the NHS a fortune in antibiotics and doctors time for this. I cannot believe they're is not an easier solution.
Yoo guys. I've been having swelling in left testicle, I've seen three different doctors they all ruled out cancer and stds... and said its most likely an epididimytis. I was given cipro and doxycycline, which did nothing. I did also have the symptoms similar to mumps and hydrocele, varicele aswell but I'm no doctor. im worrying a lot more as it seems to be slightly attacking my right testicle aswell which only happened when I started pushing at my left one a lot... Now its turning rock hard. I find that showering when they swell always reduces them to a somewhat normal state but they still feel f'ed... I quit smoking aswell it's been two weeks. Whilst I was smoking they felt like they were bubbling so I think that played a huge role. Not playing and fiddling trying to move them seems to be quite effective aswell altho it's hard.
I purchased an expensive honey and mixed with water and took that twice a day and i felt like it was touching the testicles but now I ran out. There must be a natural way to deal with this problem minus all these little tablets! Any suggestions
How long was your course of antibiotics. If it's only a few weeks I'd suggest a month or two.
Wear pants instead of boxers and take ibroprophine 4000 along side it. Their anti inflamitry will help the antibiotics.
Goodluck
The cipro i think was 7 or 10 days, the doxycycline was for 14 days. I was doing a job as a postman and I cant remember exactly how it started... but the problem started when i was occasionally having to put my hand in my pocket to adjust my testicle, now it has kinda spiraled out of control. I'm 24, I've has to put up with this for about 6 months. I was hoping that stopping smoking would have naturally helped but its still there. Whats the name of the antibiotics which you recommend and does it actually work? one month is quite a long time as its bad for the kidneys or liver...
Hey guys, I took Doxycycline for two weeks and then I took Azithromycin for a month when I didn't notice any major improvements from the Doxy. My urologist seemed to think the Doxy should have done the job. I mentioned this above, but just to reiterate, I had ureaplasma and that is the only thing my doctor could find after I did blood work, urine tests, and a CT Scan. The infection got cleared and he told me it could take any where from 6 to 12 months for the symptoms (inflammation and pain) to go away. So, if you did take Doxy you should be fine, but just to be sure you should have your doctor check you for ureaplasma. If they think it's not a concern then insist. Hope this helps and keep us posted with any improvements or updates to your condition. This inflammation can be a real mystery, but if people continue to share information on what has helped them then it should help us to get better faster and put this all behind us.
Please see a pelvic pain specialist. It’s the only thing that cured me.
Hello Daniel74, could you please state what antibiotic you took that helped you? I am very curious to know. I've been dealing with epididymitis for two years and just got a proper diagnosis of what kind of bacteria infection I had only about a month ago. I think it's getting better but still dealing with pain and discomfort and just wanted to get a ball park of how long it will be until it gets better. Was yours caused by a bacteria infection? Please let us know what kind of antibiotic you used and any other info you could pass along that people could use for their own healing process. Thanks!
I was laid out with prostatitis for 10 weeks. Couldn't believe how nasty this could be. It's so common, yet you don't hear about it unless you get it.
I just finished a blog in which I created a list of many forums, links, and helpful reads, on many related searches that I completed.
I found a Yoga exercise that helped me with lingering groin pain.
I also include a 30 second DIY prostate cushion, that you can make anytime.
I have only completed about 80 % of the blog; couldn't believe how much searching I had done.
I can't post the blog link here, but if you google:
Epididymitis Symptoms "Devil In Your Balls"
You will find it.
If it helps you in any way, great! If not, good luck and keep looking.
Hello Tence, thanks for your response. I took a lot at your blog and saw some really helpful things on there. Thanks for that! So, what do you feel helped you the most in terms of relieving the pain and inflammation? I don't have prostatitis, but I did have ureaplasma infection which I got cleared about a month and a half ago, but the pain and inflammation in my scrotum is still there. Did yours last for 10 weeks total? Just wanted to see what helped you the most. Thanks
I just updated all the blog posts, including your question on the main page.
Short answer: Everything ls needed to fight inflammation.
Yes, I had extended pain / discomfort for 10 weeks. As I mentioned on main post, Yoga exercise helped to what I believe was posture related, towards the end.
I just goggled ureaplasma infection, and i added it to the CPPS post. It shares common symptoms, including the potential of Prostatitis. I never heard of it before you mentioned it.
If you are taking any kind of pain relievers, I would follow the Sitz bath suggestions.
Read any other blog posts for suggestions, and compare to any info you find googling your condition, or your doctor's advice.
Don't know if that's any help to you, but GL.
Hey, thanks for the response. It definitely helps for sure. My doctor just got me some new pain meds. I believe this will get better, just got to keep fighting it! Thanks again for your information and help!

Hello Jman,
I have been reading your post and feel I am in the same boat as you were! I got diagnosed with urea plasma infection, I have since had 3 different antibiotics (doxycycline, azthromycin and ciprofloxacin) and have now had 3 negative results come back, however the symptoms are still there! Mainly the urge to urinate and a numb/tingling feeling in my testicles! Can you tell me what you used to ease or get rid of the symptoms? I am at my wits end now, I seem to spend my life trying to find a cure!! Please help, kind regards
Ben
Listen brothers .. Yes David KiKiwa .. I know how hard is it here in Africa . Check in to Amazon and see if is available to ship in Uganda and if not , contact any family or friends to kindly get it for you ... I also suffered this several months and getting to two years until I found sovereign colloidal silver ...
Hello friend I am 24 and i have had this since september 30th 2014 its January now and I still have it my left testicle is rock hard but they maintain they see blood flow so just keep fighting the fight.
The key to fight against chronic epididymitis is find right way to cure it. Google herbal diuretic & anti-inflammatory pill, it has lots of successful stories on curing chronic epididymitis, this info may help you.
My story. It will get better eventhough this has been one of the worse times of my life since I was diagnosed with epydemitis. My symptoms started with testicle pain on one side, pain in the abdomen and lower back. I felt like my testicles were broken and as weeks went by nothing seemed to work. I later got diagnosed with prostate infection that caused alot of new and different issues.
What I believe that cured me(still not 100% but much much much better):
after the doctor put me on cipro and a beta blocker for the prostate, My syptoms got 40% better but nowhere near fealing ok to run, walk or do any sports. I basically had to lay on the bed after work and watch my body get soft and fat.
I took it upon myself to do research and I pushed the doctor to put me on an stronger antinflamatory like MOBIC( for 30 days). After 3 months of taking cipro and or bactrim... I continued takind doxyciclen on my one for another 2 months plus on a daily basis:
-3 full glasses of water with baking soda(as much as I can tolerate per day.
-4 capsules of turmeric powder to help with antinflamatory
-1 zinc pill a day after my meal(will make you nauseous
-2 capsules of saw palmetto( worth takind although theres mixed reviews
-stronium citrate (one every other day)
-selenium(forgot the proper name, but only once every 3 days)
-2 cups of green tea per day
-no coffe or spices
-limit alcohol... maybe a beer now and thern but avoid if possible
-lots of garlic!!
-drink good water(water with alkaline and not cheap tap or high acidic)
-wear spors underwear but not too tight...
-take a hot bath everyday... and after get in the shower and use the coldest water possible on your testicles.
-sleep with a heating unit under your lower back(it helped me alot)
-rest rest rest rest
-drink alot of water during the day but stop at 5pm or 3 hours before bedtime.
-be positive... dont let this bring you down... it will get better
-treat your testicles like gold! BE CAREFULL LIFTING OR PUSHING.
-make sure its not torsion,
I hope this helps guys... I went from misery, pain and tears to having hope.
Finally your getting break through
Same THING, and because of this I'm hellaway depressed :((
I tried 8 types of antibiotics for long term and NOTHING helped.
Even did antifungal medication from fluconazole to itraconazole, the thing is that fluconazole "helped" or relieved pain and deflated the testicle, but only for 5 days it could been a side effect of the drug... I may think it's a seminoma now because nothing else coud be, so no infection AT ALL !!! and when it gets worse pain with excessive sweat like rain... for no reason, it's TERRIBLE !!! this is happening for 7 years and all these years i'm constantly DEPRESSED !!!
Life is aHELL...
Brother same thing, 5years and still trying no infection for.
Did you finally break though
Same THING, SIX YEARS!
Breakthrough guys!! It could be caused by chronic muscle spasms due to anxiety or stress! Detailed by researchers Dr. Wise and Dr. Anderson and can be relieved through profound relaxation of the nerves down there and anxiety relief. No infection it is like a charlie horse that comes back because of stress.
Same here. I have also been to the big medical centers in major cities. There is no surgery that has worked. One can cut it all out and off and it is likely to not help. I think you can get better results with TCM. Find a good TCM doctor. TCM = Traditional Chinese Medicine
Listen brother .. Just stop worrying yourself on those medications again. I would prescribed a very good option for you which I tried and really helped me ..The best answer is sovereign colloidal silver .. Please just try it once and see magic within four to five days .Trust me brother! .I’m from Ghana but my friend from USA got it for me from Amazon ..
So sorry to hear of this. I too have this issue and ice helps a lot. Otherwise if it gets to serious you may need surgery. I'm going through the same thing.
It does go away!! It took 6 months... it was an old type of antibiotic that worked. Low dose... 3 times a day for 30 days. I understand what your going through... I don't remember the medication name but I will find out. Stay positive
Hey Daniel 74 please could you tell me which antibiotic worked for you, I am 24 yrs old and i have had epididymitis for the past 10 months almost a year, i was on doxycycline for 60 days and nothing happened could you please help me out, im desparate depressed and seriously out of hope...
Careful, I've had this for ten years and testicle removal is not a option unless you have a unique condition. Removing the epididymis is a option but you have to make sure the nerves are not damaged. If so surgery will just cause more damage to nerves and exacerbate a already messed up situation.
Pills some times do not work on people the virus is to strong you got to have surgery that is the cure for it you guys i am back to my self and they found the right cure for this at the University of Minnesota they got the cure for this now
Kindly send me the hospital and surgeon contact details.
Will see how I pick it regards
Surgery treatment is one effective way to treat chronic epididymitis, but surgical treatment of chronic epididymitis not suitable for patients with fertility requirements. Besides, anti-inflammation after surgery is necessary. If the antiphlogosis has not been done after the surgery, inflammation is likely to counterattack, causing the reinfection of epididymitis infection. Safe and natural anti-inflammatory drugs may be proper, such as diuretic & anti-inflammatory pill, which created by dr.lee with 30 years clinic experience of urinary and reproductive system disease.
