Answers
Eliquis is an anticoagulant, or as it's more commonly known as, a "blood thinner". It is not intended for use in treating hypertension (high blood pressure). Having read the adverse effects of Eliquis, it appears that lower blood pressure isn't even a side effect of this medication, so I think it's safe to say that if you're taking this medication to lower your blood pressure, you're taking the wrong medication.
I hope I've helped.
Cheers,
Andrew
