No, this is not a side-effect associated with Valium. It could be due to genetic factors or a side-effect of another medication you're taking (if you're taking other prescription meds).
Yes it does. I'm currently on it and I had no issues with my hair before Valium. Benzodiazepines DO cause hair loss.
