no and if you take 800mg or less per dose with food you shouldn't have a problem. i personally take the 800mg tabs twice a day without the food and have never had a problem.
I have a bad stomach (IBS), and I'm allergic to Tylenol. I had some accidents, ladder slipped, tripped on bad sidewalk, where I needed pain killer, and they gave me Ibuprofin. After a while, I had bad stomach pain and Gerd developed. I had to increase my IBS medicine and start taking another med to neutralize the GERD and help my stomach to heal. Not everyone has a strong stomach-also you might be on a diet or taking other meds that makes Ibuprofin a very bad thing for your stomach.
