Can a 65 year old that has been on generic Ritalin for over 30 years use CBD? The doctor says no it is against the law to prescribe Ritalin while using any form of marijuana, even the CBD. Is this the truth or does it vary from state to state?
Can a doctor prescribe Ritalin if a patient uses cbd or other marijuana extracts?

Hi, d!
This is an excerpt from information online:
"No, a doctor should not prescribe Ritalin and cannabis together because cannabis can interact negatively with Ritalin and increase the risk of side effects."
I didn't find anything specifically saying it's illegal but that's still possible. Any which way it really isn't a very good idea because some of the potential side effects can be serious.
