... I just purchased Dimetapp Cold and decongestant at Raley's today and did not notice the expiration date is March 2011. Took one dose of it. I cannot believe that the store does not inventory their supplies especially medications for children.

Agreed. Take it back and ask for a refund. I'm sure you will be fine even though you have taken a dose - at worst if might not be quite as effective. If you notice anything unusual call your doctor.
