I've always used novolog 70/30 flexpen, last week I had my refill and was given regular novolog, I'm wondering if I'm getting the same benefit? My bs has been higher than usual and I'm worried.
What is the difference between novolog 70/30 and regular novolog flexpen?

You may have been given, or prescribed, the wrong insulin. Call your doctor or pharmacist to check.
No you are not. Novolog 70/30 is both long acting and short acting insulins. Regular insulin is short acting only.
Thanks for the information , because I was always taking Novolog 70/30 and they made a mistake and order regular Novolog for me.
Thanks .
