Are epinephrine and norepinephrine the same? I had a neurotransmitter test done recently and it said I was within range of norepinephrine, but low in epinephrine. Are there any medications that target epinephrine instead of norepinephrine?

Answers
See previous answer. The brain's neurotransmitters do not work independently of each other and can't be seperated any more than that accomplished by current pharmaceuticals.
Epinephrine is used for asthma. Norepinephrine is used for low blood pressure. I've been on both before. Norepinephrine i still have to use on occasion before my bp drops beyond low for me. My normal bp is 90 over 60. Epinephrine i used in an inhaler as a child because i grew up in a home full of smokers.
