Sukkarto SR is sustained release meaning the medication is released slowly into one´s bloodstream, usual dose is every 12 hours.
Metformin is IR immediate release , meaning all the medication is released at once.
The MR I do not know what it stands for as their is sustained-release [SR], extended-release [ER, XR, XL], controlled-release [CR]. And IR immediate release.
Ok the MR is modified release meaning the medication is released slowly, so it means they are the same.
