I’m supposed to be starting on day 3 of Lexapro and I’m so nervous to take the next dose as I had such horrible but Brain fog starting Lexapro yesterday. It was so scary and I couldn’t even function. Does this go away? When? Any remedies? Anyone struggle with it?

I’ve been taking Lexapro for about 7-8 months, and I’ve never had any brain fogs, or any side effects that I noticed. I do also take Xanax for anxiety as well, so maybe it’s a good combination. Maybe talk to your dr about adding it to your meds. Hope it works out for you :)

Don't worry side effects gradually wain and subside in about 7 days no matter the dose. A good idea is asking your doctor for a benzo(Klonopin or Xanax recommended best) and u will hardly notice any side effects other than mild elevated anxiety..again for no longer than a week. And your good after that.
