I am on 30mg cymbalta and 150mg wellbutrin. Feeling fine so don't need to increase the doses. Both make it hard to sleep though. I take cymbalta at 7am and Wellbutrin at noon. But I still have trouble sleeping. I want to know if I can take both at 7am at the same time? Does anybody do this? Or should they be spaced out?
Can I take cymbalta and Wellbutrin sr at the same time of the day (mornings)?

Hi, greany! Chase is right... they can both be taken morning or evening... or together. All medications affect every individual differently so you can play with your schedule to see what suits YOU best.
Just remember though to take your meds at approximately the same time everyday.
I'm new to Drugs.com and I know you already have lots of responses. But I'm on 300mg of WellbutrinSR with 60mg Cymbalta daily (going on 5 years now). The Wellbutrin seems to give me more energy while the Cymbalta makes me sleepy. So what ended up working for me was taking the Wellbutrin in the morning and the Cymbalta before bed. Everyone is different so I suggest you take them at different times so you can get a feel for how each one effects you. Once you've done that you can adjust accordingly. I hope this helps! Depression is rough and I wish you the best!
I've been on Welbutrion 450mg for a couple of years now and just needed a boost. The Welbutrion works but was still feeling a little depressed. So my doctor put me on Cymbalta 30mg.I just started it so it hasn't kicked in yet.I need to give it some time.Doctor suppose to know best so I went for it.Good to give the combination a try.So far I've been okay.
Yes they can both be taken at the same time, but always consult with a physician or a pharmacist before making the change to determine what side effects, if any, you can expect
Yes, you can take at the same time. Did for many years.
First, ask your doctor and follow his directions. We are all notoriously different in our reactions to psychotropic medications. Having said that, I have taken cymbalta and Wellbutrin at the same time every morning for many months. But first, I talked it over with my doctor and received his permission. Don't mean to be a scold, but I want to make sure you have expert information before you make what is an important decision.JT
Hi, I take 20mgs. Cymbalta and 150 mgs. Wellbutrin daily. I take the Cymbalta at 7am and 75 mgs. of the Wellbutrin at the same time. I take the other 75mgs. at noon. However, I was originally going to take the SR and my doctor said that I could take both at the same time in the morning. I ended up not taking the SR because of insurance but you should be fine with taking both at 7am. With what I currently take I don't have any problems at all. Regards...
Thanks
