On various forums, I learned of several users of Cymbalta experiencing vision problems (mostly blurred vision or refraction anomalies).
I was diagnosed with Age-Related Macular Degeneration while taking this drug, even though the dr was perplexed that I could have AMD at my age. I was told all we needed to do was watch it carefully so we could intervene with inter-occular "shots" if it progressed to the wet form, thereby "saving" my vision.
It has not gone wet. However, in the two years I have been experiencing horrid side effects that I only recently determined were due to Cymbalta, my AMD has rapidly deteriorated.
I now have no central vision and wondered if anyone else has experienced anything similar that might be associated with long-term use of Cymbalta?
