in the majority has a similiar effect (in pain killing) as Oxycodone 5-10mg Basically a Percocet (which u cant tell the difference between hydrocodone because they look so similiar the mylan versions are a longer pill with a much different number then basic hydrocodone variations by mylan. Its different with everyone due to biology of each individual changing bioavailibility of certain compounds as well as thyroid, and brain activity, plus oter things but doctors cant even pin down the differences from person to person. Thats why its hard to combat a morphine addiction if we all felt and were effected by pills equally (with the variable of tolerance taken into account and dr's knew how tolerance and drug changes work) then doctors would know exactly how to treat your pain and keep you up. BUT they dont know shit about that, biotechnicians work on it but very few in the field mind is to complicated, So nobody really bothers. However there are basic guides done by studies over years for medication conversions. u need to find a conversion chart for codeine specific meds and it will ive you a baseline to follow to show how much u would have to take to equal your regular dosage.
BUT it changes from person to person there are many different "baseline guides" id look at 3 different ones to get an avg between the three. Ignore any that claim 10mg morphine = 10mg methadone they are dead wrong u cant convert it like that those are biased because Morphine Oxycodone and especially Methadone (a major life saver and sucess catalyst, and great pain killer) has been demonized because of stupid celecbrities and dumb asses that dont care what they are swallowing dont check, and mix it with benzos and alcohol the WORST possible mixture for any class 3-1 painkiller. They are propoganda material for doctors to not prescribe methadone which is actually the safest and most harmless painkiller of them all. It has hardly any major side effects. Unless u are prone to lon QT's the other side effects are the same minor inconvences from other painkillers. But it doesnt kill our your liver, kidneys, brain cells and so on. Germans made it.. so its damn good but i have Long QT syndrome 1, so i had to be taken off methadone at 110mg they tried to use 20mg of oxycontin and norco every 6 hours to get the same effect. thats the problem. Educate the population, dont give biast medical info to doctors, and have teachers teach a small pharmeceutical class.

If you got 50mg of Codiene you basically taking half a Tylenol 3 (tylenol w/ codeine) thats the drug youve been prescribed i believe TYLENOL 3) Its about the weakest pain killer prescription you can get besides Ultram, Darvocet, Tramadol and so on.
