I have been on prochlorperazine off and on for over two years, (still) available, now taking 10 mg per day, it was recently increased from 5 mg.
Ted58; you have your answers witch are correct. Not that many do this but when the brand name company is not turning enough to make it worth their wild anymore they well quit or discontinue the brand because of the drop in sales or the Generic company pays the brand not to make it and many times the brand name company has there own line of generics. And still make money this way. ... Many drugs when they go off paten the first generic that is released is one the brand name company is making, Or they make a deal with the generic company. no worries have a good day.
Drugs.com is correct.
The FDA also have Compazine listed as discontinued. See:
https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/drugsatfda/index.cfm?fuseaction=Search.Overview&DrugName=COMPAZINE
Other generic brands of prochlorperazine are still available.
I believe it is the brand name of Compazine that is no longer made. Generics are still available.
