I always have a vaginal odor that never goes away. However the past few days it has smelt SO strong. I took a shower yesterday and today I already smell a strong foul odor. I am not experiencing ANY other symptom, does anyone know why this is happening? I am overweight but I don't know if that's causing it, could diet be a factor?

I was going to suggest bacterial vaginosis which can be cleared up with a course of antibiotics. It can be almost symptomless but often with some yellowish discharge and the horrible odor which is the clincher.
So just see your doctor and away you go. Take care and good luck.

I already take antibiotics for my acne so I'm wondering if that could just clear my infection if I have one

Doxycycline will not clear up a BV infection, you will need a different antibiotic.

Sorry, I made an assumption; antibiotics for acne will not work on a BV infectection. You will probably be prescribed Metronidazole which is the antibiotic of choice.

I would say because you mention being over weight. That sometimes that could cause us not to reach some of the areas that we need to reach when we are cleaning ourselves. So when you are bathing keep that in mind . Blessings...
