I am currently taking 20 mg of Adderall a day (1/2 in the am & 1/2 in the afternoon). I have read that carbonated beverages negatively affect the absorption of my medication. I'm wondering if Seltzer water (I make my own carbonated water with a soda stream at home) is okay to consume as it does not have any added chemicals or preservatives, citric acid, or sugars... Or if it is because the carbonation actually has the effect on the water in general.
Thank you in advance for your answers and your help! It's greatly appreciated! There's a lot of conflicting information on the internet about what is okay to eat and drink and it's a bit frustrating trying to figure it all out.
Is carbonated water OK to drink while taking Adderall?

Hi RT!
I take 20mg of Adderall in the morning--and 20 mg in mid-afternoon. I wrote the BOOK on seltzer. Please! I LOVE seltzer... especially lemon or lime flavored. ~no problem that I know of with absorption, nor does my research show any.

What should I avoid while taking Adderall?
This medication may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert.
Avoid drinking fruit juices or taking vitamin C at the same time you take Adderall. These can make your body absorb less of the medicine.
