After experimenting with various methods, the 20mg pill appears effective whether dissolved under the tongue or swallowed orally, with no significant difference observed. However, inserting the pill into the urethra at the penile tip yielded no results. It's important to note that stimulation plays a crucial role in the medication's effectiveness—without it, an erection will not occur spontaneously.
It is not recommended by the maker to begin with. When I had trouble with side effects, I took a half 5mg sublingually. The pill dissolves into a power, and has a slightly unpleasant taste. It can affect your gums and end of tongue taste buds for several hours. Sometimes bypassing the stomach makes it more effective and quicker to take effect. I would not do this with higher doses.
Here are some general considerations regarding when and how to take Tadalafil:
Tadalafil comes in tablet form. It is taken as needed, usually one hour before sexual activity. However, it is not recommended that you take it more than once in a day.
It is recommended that you take your dose with a glass of water. You may take tadalafil with or without food.
For tadalafil to work properly, you have to take it as prescribed. It won't work if you stop taking it.
Don't really think that Tadalafil would dissolve under the tongue, this type of pills have a special formulation, however please do check it with a pharmacist.
Take care, best wishes!
