I have COPD..in addition to using a rescue inhaler (proair), I use Breo and Spiriva. I take BREO in the AM and Spiriva in the PM... is that proper and effective use of these meds?
Should BREO and SPIRIVA be taken together or 12 hours apart?

I was also using breo and spirvia and took them both in the morning. I did find that once a day breo was not enough for me and I went back to symbicort twice a day. with breo I was using ventolin my rescue inhaler more.
I went off Advair and replaced it with Breo approx. 2 weeks ago. I feel like I'm losing ground a little each day... having to use my rescue inhaler (ProAir) more... I believe I will ask my physician to put me back on Advair in place of Breo..
My doc tried my on breo 2x a day which did work but insurance did not cover cause its s 1x a day inhaler. I know symbicort works so I chose to use that again. Just like proair did not give me relief so I use ventolin. everyone is different kind of trial and error. when you dont feel comfy with a med tell your doctor.
