My BP has been hanging around 203/105 and I take BP pills. What should I do and is there anything I can do other than take pills.
What kind of blood pressure device are you using? The pulse driven cuff type are notoriously unreliable and often are not used correctly. The sleeve type is far more reliable and can be trusted to give an accurate measurement. If the systolic measurement is more than 60mm of Mercury (Hg) higher than the diastolic (low number) measurement, that indicates hypertension. Yours is 100mm of Mercury higher. A BP over 200 means you are literally about to burst blood vessels.
I would consider it a medical emergency requiring immediate attention. Your arteries must be really ugly.
