Celebrex (celecoxib) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Celecoxib works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
Celebrex reaches maximum effect 3 hours after dosing and relieves pain and inflammation for around 12 hours.
With that in mind choose a time that works best with pain relief and then stick to that. It does not matter what time of day you take Celebrex.
Celebrex can be taken with or without food. Take with food if you experience tummy upset.
