I have not heard of Benedryl being used. I do know that Sudafed or pseudoephedrine IS used to make meth. They now make you buy any and all products that contain pseudoephedrine from the pharmacy counter and you have to show ID so they can monitor the amount of drug purchased by any one person. Any cold products that are not behind the counter, that used to have psuedoephedrine in them, have been reformulated. You now get Sudafed PE off the shelf. To get the real Sudafed you have to ask the pharmacist for it. It is true for even products like Nyquil. The real original formula has to be purchased from the pharmacy counter. The stuff on the shelf is a reformulation.
