[Antabuse/Disulfiram] Can I drink after 120 hours since last pill?

I took my first 250mg Antabuse pill on July 22, 2016. Then I took it daily (250mg everyday) until August 3, 2016 (13 days). Can I drink alcohol today (August 8, 5 days off the pill) w/o having the adverse effects?
I read it can stay up to 2 weeks in the body, what are the chances of this considering the time I took it and how many days I've been w/o it? I'm a short male 164cm with average weight 67kg, practices sports every week and drinks lots of water.
Frugos; I pretty much agree with Delia answer; But don't go hang a big one on but I see no reason that you can't have a drink or two, Just be very careful that it does not get out of hand. Not only because of you were on Antabuse but for your general health you don't need to backslide but no reason you can't enjoy the rest of summer but be careful.

I'm having my third shot of vodka.. I took one 250mg tablet of antibuse 100hours ago. I've seen lots of people asking the question and not any real answer or follow up to what has happened. I understand my experience will not be the same as everyone else, but having the data can't hurt. My first drink about 15mins later I got a hot flash which may have just been the alcohol since it's been 124hours since my last drink. I drank a fifth a night for a couple months straight and needed the break. I am doing this because my disease refuses to be told not to drink, but the days off have renewed my resolve and my strength and I will not drink like I was if at all in the future. I just need to feel responsible for my own soberiety not credit it to a pill or fear. I intend to have another 3-4 shots and if I start to feel Ill I will post but any side effects now are minimal if at all noticeable.
I don't reccomend this treatment except in worse case scenarios/ with a support person or team in place/ and for very short term use to catapult a few days of soberiety. The drug is unhealthy in many ways and Using drugs to control urges is habit forming as we all know.

Hi, by now you should be able to have an alcoholic drink quite safely. The general advice is not to drink for 14 days after your last dose. If you do start to experience any side effects please seek medical advice immediately

I have to disagree. Antabuse reaches a consistent state in your body roughly 8-10 days after taking it, which means that the amount remaining in your system is equal to the amount leaving your system. You were on 13 days. The half-life of Antabuse is up to 120 hours, which means it would take up to 5 days for half of the Antabuse to be out of your body (in some people it can be as little as 60 hours, but since the range is variable always err on the side of more time versus less). After five days you would still have 125 mg in your system, which is enough to cause a reaction. I'd wait at least 10 days and then CAREFULLY try just a little alcohol if you want to and wait at least an hour to see if there is ANY reaction, and if there is wait for the recommended 14 days. No judgements here, just information.
