whether Contiflo/Flodart Plus/Flomax are having same effect/composition?
Possibility of prostate cancer is ruled out and no other problem with external enlargement except high frequency-which is now reduced to half.
If surgery is not at all emergency then,for smooth flow/reduced frequency,Urimax can be continued for an year or so?
What are the adverse effects of taking Urimax-Tamsulosin-Hcl 0.4mg for prolonged use?

If you are planning on having cataract surgery make sure your ophthalmologist knows you have been using Tamsulosin. Sometimes the medication effects the iris of the eye and the surgeon uses a different technique to prevent problems.

Yes, Urimax (Tamsulosin) can be continued for a year or more. Tamsulosin is in a group of drugs called alpha-adrenergic blockers. It relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. It is used to relieve symptoms of an enlarged prostate, often referred to as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). A long-term study shows that Tamsulosin is well tolerated and extremely safe to take for at least six years.
