I noticed as a friend administered Adderall xr 30mg to her son today that appoximately 1/3 of the capsule was empty space. Is this normal or should she ask the pharmacy if this is normal? I've never seen a medication in a capsule that didn't fill the entire capsule.
Does Adderall xr 30mg fill the entire capsules or is there air space within the capsule?

should only be approximately 1/2 mm space left in a capsule
